Maritime Energy Transportation

Gas

We transport gas using our fleet of chartered LNG and LPG carriers. These vessels are equipped with advanced technologies in order to ship LPG and LNG safely and efficiently.

Our new-build very large gas carriers (VLGC), operated by us, are supplying LPG and other petroleum products sourced to Wanhua Group’s manufacturing bases in China and around the world.

We also have a number of LNG vessels on order, due for delivery in 2028 and 2029, which will serve Growth Wings Logistic gas growth ambitions and increasing demand for gas transportation capacity, driven by the global energy transition.

We are also deploying legacy LNG vessels to meet increased demand for floating storage units (FSU) and floating storage regasification units (FSRU), providing key gas import infrastructure in growth markets, while extending the operational life of our vessels and generating incremental value and new revenue streams.

Crude Oil

We transport crude oil to customers around the world using our owned fleet, operated and chartered fleet of crude carriers. Logistics and Transportation

Growth Wings Logistics and transportation servicesoffer crucial components of the supply chain and global trade, enabling the movement of goods from one location to another.

Logistics

Growth Wings Logistics helps in planning, execution, and management of the movement of goods, information, and resources from one point to another. It includes all the activities necessary to ensure the right products reach the right place, at the right time, in the right condition, and at the right cost. Logistics involves:

  • Inventory Management : Keeping track of stock levels and making sure products are available when needed.
  • Warehousing : Storing goods in strategic locations for easy access.
  • Order Fulfillment : The process of receiving, processing, and delivering orders to customers.
  • Packaging : Ensuring products are packed securely for safe transport.
  • Distribution : Organizing the delivery of products to various locations.

Transportation

Transportation is one of the key components of logistics, specifically focusing on the actual movement of goods and services from one place to another. It involves selecting the best mode of transport to ensure goods are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time. Transportation includes:

  • Road Transportation : Involves trucks and lorries for short- to medium-distance shipments, usually for deliveries within countries or regions.
  • Rail Transportation : Trains are used for bulk shipments over long distances, often for heavy or large items.
  • Air Transportation : Cargo flights provide the fastest mode of transport for high-value or time-sensitive goods, albeit at a higher cost.

Logistics and transportation services refer to the various solutions provided by companies to move goods efficiently and manage the flow of products from one location to another. These services can range from basic transportation to complex, integrated supply chain management solutions. Here's an overview of the main logistics and transportation services:

1. Freight Forwarding

Freight forwarding involves organizing the shipment of goods on behalf of customers. A freight forwarder acts as an intermediary between the shipper and transportation services, handling all aspects of transporting goods, including:

  • Documentation : Preparing bills of lading, customs declarations, etc.
  • Customs Clearance : Managing import/export processes and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Consolidation : Combining small shipments into a larger shipment to save on transport costs.

2. Shipping Services

This includes transporting goods by air, sea, or land. Common shipping services are:

  • Air Freight : Fast but expensive shipping method for time-sensitive or high-value goods.
  • Sea Freight : Ideal for bulk shipments or non-urgent deliveries. Sea freight is typically slower but more cost-effective.
  • Land Freight : Includes trucking and rail services, providing flexible options for both short and long distances.

3. Warehousing & Distribution

Warehousing services involve the storage of goods at various stages of the supply chain, while distribution refers to the movement of these goods to end-users or retail outlets. Services include:

  • Storage Solutions : Short- or long-term storage of products, including temperature-controlled storage (for perishables or pharmaceuticals).
  • Pick and Pack : Picking goods from inventory and packing them for shipment.
  • Order Fulfillment : Managing the complete order cycle, from receiving the order to delivery.

4. Last-Mile Delivery

Last-mile delivery focuses on the final step of the shipping process—getting goods from a distribution center or local hub to the end customer. It's crucial in e-commerce and urban logistics due to:

  • Same-Day Delivery : Ensuring rapid delivery for time-sensitive items.
  • Last-Mile Optimization : Managing routes, vehicle capacity, and delivery times to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

5. Supply Chain Management (SCM)

SCM services encompass the planning, coordination, and management of all aspects of the supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished goods. It includes:

  • Inventory Management : Ensuring products are available when needed without overstocking.
  • Procurement Services : Managing the purchase of goods and services from suppliers.
  • Demand Planning : Forecasting demand to ensure timely production and delivery.

3rd Party Logistics

A 3PL distribution revolution for fulfillment services.

Growth Wings Logistics provides high-grade 3PL services in our role as an integrated logistics company that has built up an abundance of assets and know-how. We cater flexibly to all customer needs, establishing the optimal logistics environment.

What is 3PL (Third-Party Logistics)?

Growth Wings Logistics Third (3rd) Party Logistics (3PL) proposes and implements logistical reform under the prerequisite of outsourcing logistical tasks, and it could be said to be a form of business that subcontracts out work that has been constantly subject to repeated improvement. Basically, 3PL is thought to be a style of business in which logistics are planned, designed and operated by experienced third parties (including those who are the same as transportation companies) who take over the responsibilities of the freight owners in order to solve problems caused by conflicts of interest between freight owners and the transportation companies.

Diagram of 3PL Business

3PL business involves procurement logistics, factory logistics, sales logistics (warehouse management, transportation and delivery management) and reverse logistics (industrial waste, returned commodities, repairs) being completely outsourced instead of being carried out by customers' logistics sections.

Growth Wings-Type 3PL Business

Our Growth Wings Logistics-Type 3PL Business covers both asset-type 3PL and non-asset-type 3PL.
This provides one-stop support for customer requirements.

Asset-Type

Companies with property and facilities that have accumulated know-how through the ownership of warehouses and delivery networks to a stage where they are able to suggest optimal logistics to customers. However, warehouse-related 3PL suppliers need to secure transportation and delivery functions. And, delivery-related 3PL suppliers need to establish tie-ups with warehouse suppliers.

Non-Asset-Type

Companies that do not own property or facilities. They optimize and suggest centers that can perform all tasks related to transportation and delivery networks, logistics processing and inventory control, as well as the information systems used for managing these tasks, to customers. Their business affairs are founded on the provision of know-how.

Advantages of 3PL

3PL reforms company logistics environments to create new cash-flow and contribute to the improvement of the company's administrative environment itself. It can also be used to promote rationalization without fettering the company internally or externally.

Focuses Administrative Assets on the Main Business

It is possible to focus the company's assets that have hereto been assigned to distribution-related facilities/equipment and the staff and labour costs (salaries, training expenses, etc.) involved in distribution on the main field of business.

Realizes Efficient Cost Reductions

Establishing cost-reduction targets and deciding on incentives when the targets have been achieved enhances the motivation to reduce costs without causing any conflicts of interest.

Separates Sales Channels and Distribution

When promoting 3PL business, first of all, it is necessary to promote the separation of sales channels and distribution. This will solve the problems that customers have been facing up until now.

Dramatic Increase in Cash Flow

3PL contributes to increasing cash flow and stabilizing company management, and this clarifies things from a balance-sheet point of view.
